Niello Porsche, Northern CA's newest and largest stand alone Porsche center
Niello Porsche moves to Rocklin, CA in its new Porsche design facility...
I'm really thrilled to let you know about two news items that will be of particular interest to existing and future Porsche owner's right here in the greater Sacramento area.
First of all the current location for the only Sacramento area franchised Porsche dealer (Niello Porsche 4609 Madison Ave in Sacramento at the corner of I80 and the Madison exit) is moving its entire operation in early June of this year. The new location is 4525 Granite Drive in Rocklin, CA about 12 miles E of its current location on Interstate 80. This move will mark the most recent effort by Porsche Cars North America and Porsche AG to develop a consistent brand recognition at all its dealer locations providing Porsche customers the finest retail, service and parts experience available anywhere. The new Porsche location, currently under construction by The Niello Company will be the newest and largest 100% pure Porsche environment right here in Rocklin, California. The Niello Company committed to its growing customer base is moving forward to ensure its vision to be Northern California's leading automobile dealer for all the products it represents. The new Niello Porsche facility is the result of a design effort that showcases “everything we've learned so far…” and when complete it will be a truly breathtaking experience for the customers and Niello employees as well. The building and its tech/industrial style was designed by Porsche AG to be a total experience, using visual and design elements all the way down to specific hardware that mounts quotes made by Dr. Porsche which seem as appropriate today as when they were first spoken more than 50 years ago. Both current and future customers alike will marvel at the blending of historic information as well as the latest techniques employed to offer customers the latest information about current and future Porsche products/services all in a pure Porsche experience unlike any other previously available. The new location should be open for business in early to mid June.
The second significant news item is that Don Faerber (previously Niello Porsche's sales manager) has assumed my previous position as General Manager effective April 1, 2005. Don brings an enthusiasm and knowledge to Porsche that both customers and the Niello Porsche team will absolutely benefit from as well a being a current Porsche owner himself. I will be moving to The Niello Company management team and working in a new department dedicated to marketing/e-sales for all the brands the company represents. For the last 8.5 years along with a totally dedicated Porsche staff I've had the privilege of helping to develop Porsche's presence here in the Sacramento area. My new position in our management company will require me to have an active roll in the further development of our Porsche franchise as well as all the other brands we represent. More about how Niello Porsche will benefit from the new marketing department will become obvious very soon.
I'd like to tell you a short story about Don Faerber. I met Don in July, 2001 while my wife and I were shopping for our oldest son's first car. We had considered all the options and decided on a pickup truck of some type (gas prices then at about $0.99 a gallon for regular). Off we went for an afternoon of "joyous" car shopping. Wow what a shock it was to see the auto mall experience from a customer's point of view. After a few hours we were feeling pretty beat up when we saw a dealership clearly posting all their prices stuck boldly on the windshield of all their used inventory. My wife said, “hey, I like that place because I don't have to ask a salesman for the price.” We stopped to look at a used Dodge Dakota truck and that's when we first met Don Faerber. Long story short, my wife and I had such a pleasant purchase experience that she said, on the drive home, “you need to hire that guy, he was great.” This comment coming from a confirmed car shopping hater really got my attention. Don and I maintained a pretty close relationship from then on. He bought at least 2 911's from our Porsche store before he eventually came to work for our BMW store in 2003. I was lucky enough to convince him to make the switch to Porsche in December of 2004. I can tell you that in my opinion Don Faerber has what it takes to develop Niello Porsche's future at its new location in Rocklin. I hope you get a chance to give him the warm welcome that I know you will, very soon. He loves talking about Porsche.
Look for a lot more exciting news that's updated and added in the near future for both Niello Porsche and all our Niello Company sites.
I hope to see you at our new facility soon and thanks for visiting us online...
